Vision
Empowering our students through innovative teaching and learning, dedicated to nurturing Future-ready, Responsible Digital Learners and Creative Collaborators.
Mission
In line with MOE EdTech Masterplan 2030, the four pillars of our mission are:
-
Cultivate ACSians to be digitally-empowered, future-ready learners and innovators
-
Empower teachers to be technologically-adept, collaborative learning designers
-
Provide intelligent, responsive, digitally-equipped learning environment
-
Partner parents to build a networked EdTech ecosystem.
ACS(P)'s ICT curriculum builds digital literacy, critical thinking, problem-solving and creativity. Students progressively develop ICT skills from basics to advanced concepts throughout their primary years.
Digital literacy is defined as a set of knowledge, skills and dispositions that help our learners become confident, critical and responsible users of digital technologies. Through our key programmes, we focus on developing 9 core digital competencies, aligned with the EdTech Masterplan 2030's "Find, Think, Apply, Create" framework.
Key ICT Programmes
ICT Baseline Programme (P1–6): Interactive lessons and online self-directed learning covering essential technological skills. These serve as a roadmap for students to develop their digital skills progressively. Skills include touch typing, document processing applications, and presentation applications.
Cyber Wellness: Interactive programmes that teach students online etiquette, cyberbullying awareness, and personal information protection.
Coding & Computational Thinking (P4 & 5): Students learn block-based coding and develop computational thinking skills. The programme also introduces students to current technology trends, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and introduction to the Internet of Things (IoT).
At ACS(P), we leverage ICT to inspire curiosity, collaboration, and innovation, preparing students as effective and responsible digital learners for an ever-evolving digital future.
